Today In Class and Homework 2/14

Today in class we started taking measurements for the jump lab. We measured the position of the apex of your jump (or Position final for those who prefer it). We went outside and used tape that we placed on the side of the building to accurately measure the maximum height of your jump. We took 5 measurements and took the average at the end of class.

YOUR HOMEWORK IS THE FOLLOWING: Use the data you collected in class and other already known measurements to solve for the initial velocity of your jump and the total time spent in the air (change in time, or hang-time).

Please note that we are using -9.8m/s^2 for our acceleration instead of -10m/s^2

THIS WILL BE DUE ON THURSDAY 2/16!
