Idk if ur suppose to post here but I will anywayThe first group has Makeup(foundation, blush, sponges) The second has three flower clips. The third is a bunch of clips. The fourth is earrings. The fifth is hair ties. The sixth is "stuff I can brush my hair with" (a hair brush and a comb). The group with the two boxes are just boxes. The rest of the groups only have one thing in their groups so I just put them wherever they fit in.
ReplyDeleteAre u suppose to post the image because idk how to do that
DeleteYou can post a link to the image from some other social media or cloud storage... it can be a little difficult to paste an image directly in a post.;7)
DeleteI did my guitar picks. The first group is the sizes 0-.99 millimeters. The second group is 1-1.99 millimeters. Then the third group is 2-anything higher. I put them into their own containers.
ReplyDeleteI sorted my guitar picks. The first group is the sizes 0-.99 millimeters. The second group is 1-1.99 millimeters. Then the third group is 2-anything higher. Then I tested them out on my guitar. Then I put them into different containers.
ReplyDeleteI organized a junk drawer I have in my bedroom. I got out all of the makeup bags and little boxes I had and got to work. I put all of the hair products (clips, hair ties, headbands, bobby pins, etc.) into my pink and orange striped Vera Bradley bag. All my make up products and brushes went into my VS travel make up bag. My Alex and Ani bracelets went into my other (smaller) VS bag. Then my Loki bracelets from three years ago that I don't really wear anymore went into an old blue bracelet box. All my other bracelets (charm, beaded, etc.) went into another old bracelet box. Then I just put all my necklaces in the boxes they came in.
ReplyDeleteIn my room my shoes are always unorganized. I decided to group my shoes by season to be more organized. The first group has my winter boots in it. The second bin has sneakers and other closed-toe shoes. The third bin has open-toe shoes that I wear in the summer. Some of the shoes in the first picture I threw out because they don't fit me anymore. Having my shoes organized makes it faster and easier to find my shoes.
ReplyDeleteI sorted a junk drawer in our kitchen and put items into multiple groups. First, I took items used for mailing and addresses. This included a directory, an address/phone number packet, stamps, and a return address stamp. Next, I got items together that are used for personal care, like chap sticks, bobby pins, skin care products, dental floss, and tissue packs. Next, we had a lot of items used for sewing, so I put all of those items together in a plastic bag. I also found all of our notepads and put them in its own pile. Lastly, we got together an area of things I would use with paper, like scissors, white out, staples, paper clips, and a tape measure. This drawer has a lot of random things in it that none of us use on the daily, but my parents were definitely happy with the outcome.

I sorted the coins in my piggy bank. I sorted the coins into 5 piles. The piles were quarters, pennies, dimes, nickels, and dollar coins. Doing this helps me because it is easier to get the right amount of change when I need it.
ReplyDeleteWith these observations, can these objects be from all around my house or do they have to be from a certain area of my house; like my pantry or my room?
ReplyDeleteWhen I began to organize my dog's pile of toys, I observed that most of the toys were stuffed animals, so I started by separating everything into 2 piles: stuffed animals (not including ones that squeak), and everything else. Once that was done, I separated the balls from the group, and then the squeaker toys, then bones. Finally, I found containers and baskets, and put the groups in a way that my dog can easily find everything.
ReplyDeleteI organized my obsessive shoe collection with the categories of height, usage, and season. I started by splaying them all out in-front of me and then splitting them off into sections. There was a winter-heel section that went under my bed containing roughly 8 pairs. A boot section was put in my closet containing 3 pairs. A bucket full of summer sandals (roughly 5 pairs) and throw on "ugly" shoes were in my closet. Ugly means that I wear them when I don't put any effort or care in my appearance. On my shoe rack I had the top shelf my everyday sneakers that I wear often (maybe 6-8 pairs). The Next shelf down were my work shoes, which are categorized by how uncomfortable yet cute they are. Most containing no support and causing a lot of pain put in order from most to least worn. Finally along side my wall I lined up my three current athletic sneakers in order of gym/indoors, crossfit, and my running sneakers. -Giselle
ReplyDeleteI decided to sort a large basket full of dog toys. I decided to sort the toys by the type, and the most frequently used. First I took all of the toys out of the basket, and separated them by rubber/plastic, rawhide bones, sports balls, cloth items, and stuffed animals. Then I replaced the toys back into the basket in sections of each type, and put the toys that were frequently used on the top. Now my dog is able to grab the toys she uses the most often from the basket quicker (even though she will probably mess it up again).
ReplyDeleteI organized my fridge, which was much needed. The fridge was cluttered, unorganized, and messy. However, I threw out the food that'd gone bad. I organized the milk into one section and the condiments into another, instead of just combining them. I continued to use this technique while I was organizing. We had 5 big unopened bottles of seltzer, but I only kept two in the fridge because they won't go very fast and will just be a waste of space. I also discovered that there were two half way eaten bags of spinach, so I combined the spinach all into one bag. These were the techniques I used to organize my fridge.
ReplyDeleteI organized my pantry into 4 sections: baking supplies, spices and seasonings, oils and vinegars and pre packaged food. My first group, baking supplies, had sprinkles, food coloring, vanilla extract, cupcake wrappers, icing, honey, chocolate chips, Heath chips, molasses, baking soda, melting chocolate, cake mix, confectioners sugar, corn starch, cookie brownie mix, cinnamon, nutmeg and almond oil. My next group, spices and seasonings, had Texas BBQ seasoning, Goya seasoning, red pepper flakes, oregano, Old Bay seasoning, Italian seasoning, coriander, rosemary, cumin, mustard seed, dill seed, cloves, dry seasoning, ground cayenne pepper, parsley, chicken spice seasoning, bay leaf and spice blends. My third group, oils and vinegars, had red wine vinegar, canola oil, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic oil and vinegar. My final group, pre packaged food, had Bisquick, Spaghetti, Spaghettios, jelly, evaporated milk, parmesan cheese, mayo, pizza sauce, tomato sauce, cocktail sauce, salsa, bouillon, bread crumbs, pancake mix, a taco dinner kit, worcester sauce, cranberry sauce and salt.

I organized my workout clothes. Using three drawers, I have leggings, tank tops, sports bras, and spandex. Before I organized them, the items of clothed were not folded and were just stuffed into the drawer. Now, I have everything folded and organized. In my legging drawer, I have the back row consisting of designed pants. Then in the bottom left I have Nike. In the front right I have ones with mesh inserts, and above that I have black and white pants. My sports bra and spandex drawer was organized with spandex on the left, and sports bra separated by style. My tank top drawer is sorted by neon colors on the left, graphic tank tops in the middle, then solid colors on the right, fading from black to gray to white (with a few solid colors other than those neural ones on the very end).

I organized a drawer with my old school stuff, which included binders, notebooks, folders, an accordion folder, and a bunch of papers strewn in there. I organized these into two piles based on the size and thickness of the items. In the left pile, I put the thinner items, being the papers, folders, and notebooks. In the right pile, I put the binders and the accordion folder. After doing this, I even made enough room so that I could put more stuff in the drawer still if need be.
ReplyDeleteI used Gyazo to screenshot the pictures I imported onto my computer from my phone, since I couldn't get them to post without deleting all my text. These are the links:

I organized the items on the top of my dresser by brand. I grouped all my Bath and Body Works lotions together; my Pacifica shower gel and lotion together; my it's a 10 shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask together, and so on. I removed any unnecessary items such as Polaroids, art projects, and papers from my dresser to get rid of clutter, and as a result, I can now find everything I need much easier because everything is in its place and because my dresser is free of clutter.

I organized my Google Drive. I grouped my files according to what they were made for. For example, I have my middle school files in one folder, my 9th grade files in one folder, and likewise other files according to the projects I used them for.
ReplyDeleteI organized a bookcase in my basement. I organized them based on title, color, and size. A series of white books, for example, were placed right next to each other in order. Another set of books had no title, but were the same color and had similar sizes, therefore I placed them next to one another.
ReplyDeleteI organized my drawer by separating it into a shirts pile, shorts pile, and pants pile. Organizing it in this way made finding specific clothing easily. Also, the clothing was placed more neatly now. Because of this organization, I won't have to tear away at anything to find what I need. It's now all in one place and simply organized.

I organized a food drawer in my refrigerator. Normally everything is just thrown on top and we had to dig through other foods to find what we wanted. Now everything is organized by what is used the most. If one food is eaten more than the other it is on the left. Less commonly eaten foods are on the right. It is also organized by how many people it. If more people eat one kind of food, it in the front, and the food eaten by less people are in the back. It is good to have this because anything new can be added easily.
ReplyDeleteFor the assignment, I decided to organize my bookshelf. Some books were backwards, others were out of place, and somewhere in the wrong place. First I took off all the books and sorted them from soft and hard cover. Then I put them in size order for each group. When that was done, I put all the books back on.
ReplyDeleteI organized my nail polish. I have a lot, and it is always just in a basket in my room. I sorted it in the category, the ones with glitter, and the ones without(others). I put the ones with glitter in a Ziploc bag, and left the others in the basket.
