    The key idea of Richie's Potty Chart is to use the information given to make inferences about why things happen and what makes them happen. The biggest scientific limitation is we have no facts or constant support to prove why the events on the chart occur the way and in the order they do.

    another key idea is that this activity proves one can not test a hypothesis if there are no proven facts other than assumptions and no sure ideas of who Richie is.
