Assignment 1:
- Read and post to the blog
- Come up with a standard for each of the 3 quantities discussed in class listed below
- POST as a reply to each one
Assignment 2:
- Create an organized chart (using a ruler) to put the name of the measurements the standards symbol and unit of measure. Chart should take up entire page and be hamburger not hotdog in your notebook. 5 columns and 7 rows!

ASSIGNMENT #2
ReplyDeleteWhere should we do the assignment if you collected our notebooks?

Why did they use that material?
DeleteWhat would be the result if they used material?
Why is the material so expensive?
Sara V
When they say "sculpted" did a person or machine sculpt it?
DeleteWhy is it important to have a standard?
DeleteIs it possible to have a true standard that will stay the same forever?
What happens if we find the perfect method to define a standard but a better method is found in the future?

You took my notebook so...
ReplyDeleteJohn-Fred CraneOctober 20, 2014 at 3:22 PM
DeleteYou knew this when you left. Probably would have been a good time to ask. Piece of paper a pen would do and you could cut and paste. Use duct tape. Hot glue. Decoupage that sucker right into your notebook.
Did people really sculpt it or did a machine do most of the work?
ReplyDeleteWhy is the material so expensive?

I made a chart with 5 columns and 7 rows. I filled it with the SI Units, Units of Measure, and Symbols. What were the other two columns for?
