  1. The banana is a curvy yellow fruit that has a harder layer outside of it. Once peeled off, the inner and edible layer is revealed. It grows off a tree and is mostly found in tropical environments. The banana contains many vitamins and has potassium. There's also seeds within the banana too.

  3. Bananas are long, curved fruits with a yellow, brown or green peel. They contain the plant's seeds, so they are, as previously stated, fruits, but the plant they grow on is technically herbaceous because the stem in not made of, as oxford dictionary says, "True woody tissue." So I don't know where the berry rumor that I saw on Wikipedia came from, but bananas are herbs AND fruits.

Bananas are fruits because they have the characteristics of fruits. Fruits have seeds, skin, some sort of stems, and grow above ground. Because of this bananas are fruits.

  8. According to google "A banana (the yellow thing you peel and eat) is undoubtedly a fruit (containing the seeds of the plant though since commercially grown banana plants are sterile, the seeds are reduced to little specks." Bananas have seeds which makes them a fruit. They are also yellow and have a peel, not to mention a great source of potassium.
