Sorry about the HW, don't worry

So yea, probably should have put this up sooner, but because it is late I do not want to count this against you. If you do not have the HW for tomorrow, that is okay. I will not mark you in your grades for this. This is purely for your practice.

All I want you to do for the HW if to graph the position vs time graph and the velocity vs time graph for hitting a cue ball in pool against a wall and have it bounce back.

I am sorry for not putting this up at a reasonable time, but I will not count this against you if you do not have it. Graph the situation or even just think about the problem if you have time before class. I will have more prompt posts for you guys in the future. 

Class Summary and Homework assignment 2/22

Today in class we worked more with motion graphs. In the beginning of class we filled out the acceleration portion of our motion summary sheets, some students also filled out the section for velocity vs time if they had not already done so. In the 2nd half of class Mr. Crane and I handed out the velocity and acceleration vs time graphs that we completed on the whiteboards the previous class (each group did not get their original whiteboard, but one from a different group. You were tasked to find the errors in their graphs, the evidence or reasoning on how it is wrong, and the corrections.

In Mr. Crane's previous post, he attached a packet with an assignment and graph paper. The first page consists of problems to graph and 2nd page is graph paper. Please print this out because it is needed for your HW assignment.

Your Homework assignment is the following: Graph the position vs time graph and the velocity vs time graph for an object stopping at a stop light and an object leaving a stop light. You must also describe the motion in words as well!

THIS ASSIGNMENT WILL BE DUE FRIDAY 2/24.
