Not as Easy as Pi

  • Make observations and measurements that are both precise and accurate

  • Ask critical questions.
  • Create Hypothesis.
  • Create a "controlled" Experiment.

Easy as pie.

Objective:use observations and measurements to determine the relationship between two quantities circumference diameter.

1.Measure both precisely and accurately the circumference & diameter of 10 circular objects.
2.graph the circumference and diameter of 10 circular objects according to the good rules of graphing given in class and on the block
Note:The most important thing in your graph is that it takes of the proper amount of
space this is done by developing a proper scale.
This is accomplished when all your points fit neatly on your graph and have an easy-
to-read increment of either fives, tens, or two's.
